Sony Ericsson LiveView Bluetooth Micro Display As Remote Control for Android Mobile


Sony Ericsson announced a small display called Sony Ericsson LiveView that use Bluetooth connectivity that provides remote control function, which is part of the Extra portfolio of mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson. LiveView is using Bluetooth to connect to a compatible handset and display the activity of the cell phone, which allows consumers to control the phone without removing it from pocket or purse.

Besides can connect with their own products such as Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, mini X10, X10 mini pro, LiveView can also work with other smartphones that run on Android operating system 2.0 or above.

LiveView allows users to read text messages, read RSS feeds, see incoming calls, reminder that displays your calendar and stay up to date with the latest news on Facebook and Twitter on the small screen without the need to remove the device from the original smartphone cell phone pocket.



This small device can also control music functions on your Sony Ericsson and display song info.

Micro display can be attached to the rope / binding for watches, on a key chain or clipped to a laptop. Sony Ericsson's LiveView feature a color screen measuring 1.3-inch OLED 128 × 128px and microUSB port for charging.

Sony Ericsson will launch a LiveView in Q4 2010. Price is unknown at this time.
