Duo Motherboard ASRock 990FX & 970 Extreme4 Extreme4 Architecture To Support Bulldozer


Once both models have been exhibited at the 2011 Computex exhibition ago, ASRock has just officially introduced the duo motherboard AM3 + flagship product that is new 990FX and 970 Extreme4 Extreme4 intended to support CPU AMD Bulldozer in the future.

Both models support the AMD FX-Series processor quad-core, 6-core and 8-core, features four DDR3 memory slots that are compatible with 2100MHz memory modules (or even higher) and also includes three PCI Express x16 slots.

Both solutions include a series of easy overclocking features like the on-board Power and Reset buttons, display debug bios and the I / O Clear CMOS behind.

Two more USB 3.0 ports are available via on-board pin header and ASRock 990FX Extreme4 also equipped with front panel USB 3.0 that also has room to install a 2.5-inch storage drive.

ASRock 990FX Extreme4 includes 8 +2 phase power design, while the ASRock 970 Extreme4 has a 5-phase construction is simpler, but both motherboards are able to handle processors with TDP of 140W.
